We just completed our Volunteer Training Class. If you are interested in our next training, please read volunteer position descriptions and submit your interest form by clicking on the registration link below.
Training is either 3 weeks for 3 half days per week or 4 weeks for 2 half days per week. Once this 23-hour training is completed, there will be ongoing training in the center during a probationary period.
The focus of the training is to guide trainees to serve as advocate coaches or as volunteers in the center. A coach is a pregnancy center worker who meets with women or men who are making pregnancy decisions, specifically those people who are considering abortion.
Recognizing that the pregnant woman is the ultimate decision maker in a pregnancy decision, the curriculum focuses on serving her well. Yet, concepts presented are transferable to serving men. The training offers practical tools and relevant information to better serve our community.
It is highly recommended that you get the training handbook.

We had a great time at our first annual benefit banquet on Nov. 3 at the High Point Assembly of God Church. Over 200 guests enjoyed a tri-tip dinner prepared by The Snack Box Catering and served by the youth of Calvary Chapel and young adults from High Point Church.
One highlight of the evening was the musical presentation by Red Bluff’s own award-winning fiddler Melissa Lincoln who was accompanied on guitar by her mother, Pat Scott. Other program speakers included Roxanne Cunningham, who shared a moving personal testimony, LifeNet’s Executive Director Karla Dillon, and board members, Margie Duey, Frank Schubert, Nathaniel Porter, Mike Ayres, Dee Hamill and Beverlee Penner, and Pastor David Blythe of High Point Church.
Thank you to our table sponsors, auction item donors, volunteers and guests who made the banquet a success.
Bonnie Christensen, M.A.
Bonnie shared her own experiences of standing firm, even when doctors, friends and co-workers were urging her to abort her son who had been diagnosed with Down syndrome.
Bonnie challenged us to walk through difficulties and to stand strong in what God has called us to do and be.
She encouraged guests to focus on the God of hope who desires to walk with us in each moment of our trials. God will equip us with everything we need for life and living. God wants to give us a peace that surpasses all understanding, that will keep our hearts and minds quiet and at rest when we trust in Christ Jesus? (I Peter 5:6-7 )
