Prayer is our greatest need. We depend on dedicated prayer from our supporters. Please consider praying for us on a regular basis. Pray for our volunteers and staff to love well and for continued provision in our ministry.
We would not be able to serve our community at the level we do without a network of dedicated volunteers. Not only are they able to use their talents to serve our clients, but the hours they give to LifeNet allow us to operate on a significantly smaller budget and still make an impact in our community.
We have various volunteer opportunities available for you to get involved in the work of LifeNet. Read through the descriptions then click the application link to apply.
New volunteer training will take place at the end of September 2020.
Please register to express your interest in becoming a volunteer.
Training consists of approximately 20 hours of concentrated teaching classes. We strive to provide class times that work best with the volunteers schedules. Additional training is offered at the center during volunteer hours.
The focus of the training is to guide trainees to serve as advocate coaches or as volunteers in the center. A coach is a pregnancy center volunteerr who meets with women or men who are making pregnancy decisions, specifically those people who are considering abortion.
Recognizing that the pregnant woman is the ultimate decision-maker in a pregnancy decision, the curriculum focuses on serving her well. Yet, concepts presented are transferable to serving men.
The training offers practical tools and relevant information to better serve our community.
It is highly recommended that you get the training handbook. Cost of the handbook is at the discounted rate of $25 (regularly $35). Manuals may be purchased at the training.
