Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our center. Please review the following information to complete the volunteer application process.

Prayerfully consider the area(s) of interest that you feel would be the best fit for your skill set and gift mix. It is our desire that your heart is full and that you thrive as a team member! This ministry should not be taken lightly. We are seeking volunteers who are willing to commit to volunteering with our team for a minimum of 12 months. The training process for those working with clients in the center will take 3-6 months, depending upon individual efforts and availability. Additionally, volunteer enrichment training will be periodically offered.

Here are the steps:

• Read LifeNet's "Statement of Faith" and "Statement of Principle" prior to completing the application. During the interview process you will be asked to sign these documents indicating your agreement.

• Complete the application form online (preferred method). The application is quite long so devote at least 30-60 minutes to complete. You may also drop by the center to pick up a paper application or download below. Paper applications should be returned to the center in a sealed enveloped marked "Attn: Executive Director". 
• Contact Karla Dillon, Executive Director (530-727-9888 or karla@lifenettehama.org) to schedule a 30-60 minute interview.
• The Executive Director facilitates a reference check and background check (required by our insurance provider).
• Follow up with the Executive Director to schedule ongoing training/practicum checklist.
